Belize Catamaran Sailing Wedding
Just the thought of sailing gets me excited so whenever a couple decides to get married aboard a catamaran or sailboat, I get, well more excited. Ambergris Caye is home to many sailboats and catamarans that take visitors on cruises along the Barrier Reef. Some go on the famous sunset cruise which is one of my personal favorites. Nothing like enjoying the spectacular views provided by mother nature while you enjoy some fresh ceviche and rum punch. Sounds like you are in a movie but in reality, you are in Paradise. In La Isla Bonita, the number 1 Island in the World. But this post is about a beautiful destination wedding so let me talk about that and I’ll tell you more about the sailing part on another post.
A Belize catamaran sailing wedding is one of those options for a wedding that are beyond amazing. Imagine sailing on the Caribbean Sea and anchoring on the reef to say “I Do”. Sounds magical right? Belize is home to the largest living Barrier Reef in the world. Hence, getting married on a Catamaran overlooking this magnificent natural marvel, makes it a truly unique experience. This is what this eloping couple decided to do. They were considering having a regular intimate beach wedding ceremony but after a few choices offered by their Belize wedding planner, they opted for the Belize catamaran sailing wedding. They said that where they come from, you cannot see the ocean therefore it made perfect sense to get married on a catamaran.
They were very lucky that they got a beautiful sunny day to sail away and get married in Belize. After the ceremony by the Barrier Reef, we sailed into the sunset for their photo shoot. After about 3 hours of sailing, we were dropped off at the Victoria House Resort where we did a few more photos.
I hope you enjoyed this post and if you are considering eloping and getting married in Belize, then you might want to consider a Belize catamaran sailing wedding and I would be delighted to be your Belize photographer. Contact.
