It’s conch season in Belize and all locals and visitors have been getting their dose of conch. Conch can be prepared in many ways and some of the most popular conch dishes are, Conch Fritters, Conch Soup/Chowder, and my personal favorite, Conch Ceviche. I love Conch Ceviche so much that I could eat it everyday.
While I buy it from different establishments, I also like to prepare my own ceviche using the following ingredients:
♦ Tomatoes
♦ Onions
♦ Cilantro
♦ Fresh Lime Juice
♦ Salt
♦ Black Peper
♦ Mary Sharp Pepper Sauce (Usually people use Habanero Peppers)
Did you know that Conch Ceviche would be a great addition to your wedding menu. Yes! It is a great form of appetizer that I am sure your guests and you would enjoy! So make sure you ask your wedding planner about having some Conch Ceviche for your wedding. Remember that it is seasonal and depending on your wedding date, it might be off limits.
