Mayan Ruin Wedding in Belize
Mayan Ruin Wedding in Belize. From the Mayan Temples in San Ignacio, Cayo to the beautiful white sandy beach in beautiful San Pedro Belize. Only in Belize. Yes, only in Belize you can get married on an Ancient Sacred Maya Temple amidst the Wild Jungles of Belize and then fly back to Belize’s leading tourist destination San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye to have your trash the dress photo session on one of our beautiful sandy beaches with its crystalline turquoise Caribbean Sea. While this is not for every couple, it is an idea that I truly love. I’m glad that I came up with this magnificent package so that you can truly have a magical Destination Wedding in Belize 🙂
It was a beautiful sunny day with blue skies on Jason & Erin’s wedding day. The day began at the San Ignacio Resort early in the morning, we then moved to the amazing Xunantunich Archaeological Maya Site where a 15-20 minute ceremony was officiated by Belize Wedding Planner Mrs. Iraida Gonzalez of Belize Weddings.
We started with the photo shoot right after the ceremony moving from temple to temple, looking for the best spots. After we finished with the picture taking, everyone moved back to their resort. I stayed at The Cahal Pech Resort, it is a nice and very casual place with an incredible view to the mountains and San Ignacio Town. It’s also located a few minutes from Cahal Pech Archelogical Site.
We scheduled the trash the dress for the following week since Jason & Erin had many mainland activites but as soon as they were in the Island, they touched base with me to schedule their photo shoot. They stayed at Portofino Resort where we had lots of fun taking more photos.
Here are a few photos from my first Maya/Reef Destination Wedding Photography Package. Contact me if you would like to learn more about this package or you can also just get married at the Maya Ruins or the beach. The choice is yours, it is your special day, I’m there to capture your moments so that you can treasure them forever 🙂
